Three Things to Know About Your Fertility Journey

National Infertility Awareness Week: April 26th Webinar

The first webinar in the series was of interest to people who face challenges in getting pregnant. In this session we discussed common causes of infertility, interventions and treatment options, as well as next steps and key considerations.

Presented by:

Dr. Jenna McCarthy – Member of WIN’s Medical Advisory Board and reproductive endocrinologist at IVFMD, the South Florida Institute of Reproductive Medicine Kimberly Doe, RN – WIN Nurse Care Manager Team Leader
Infertility, which affects 1 in 8 couples, is defined as a disease of the reproductive system that impairs a couple’s ability to conceive children. There are several potential causes for infertility in both women and men, from age and lifestyle factors to medical conditions. However, Dr. McCarthy explained that many couples can be helped, and ultimately become parents, through fertility treatment, adoption, or surrogacy. In recognition of National Infertility Awareness Week (April 24th-30th, 2022) WINFertility presented this free webinar series led by world-renowned fertility specialists to help navigate challenges on the path to parenthood.
