Dr. Edelstein is a highly trained Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at The Fertility Institute of Virginia, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Edelstein received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. He received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Edelstein completed his residency at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and then served a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia.
He is double-board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Edelstein is the author of numerous research papers, abstracts, and book chapters and has lectured extensively on topics relating to infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is a member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and is a perennial selection in Richmond’s Magazine’s “Top Doc” survey for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
