Jaye Adams, MD, FACOG

Dr. Adams is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist at the Fertility Center of San Antonio, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.

Education and Certification
Dr. Adams earned an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine.  She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Wilford Hall Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center as an Air Force physician.  In 2012, Dr. Adams completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and earned a Master’s of Science in Clinical Investigation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.

Dr. Adams is double-board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology.

Experience
Dr. Adams practiced as a general Obstetrician/Gynecologist for the Air Force until 2012, and served in Germany, Mississippi, England, and as Chief of Gynecology at San Antonio Military Medical Center. She was deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where she assisted an Obstetrics training team at an Afghan host nation hospital.  After completing her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology Dr. Adams practiced as an active duty reproductive endocrinologist. Most recently she served as the IVF director at San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Dr. Adams recently retired from the Air Force and joined the team at the Fertility Center of San Antonio.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She has authored research articles related to PCOS, and ovarian granulosa/theca cells. Her special interests include infertility, ovulation disorders, and fertility preservation.
