Dr. Tidey is a highly trained Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at the Richmond Center for Fertility and Endocrinology, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Tidey is an Echols Scholar and a graduate of the University of Virginia, he went on to obtain his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland and this fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at George Washington University. Dr. Tidey then went on to conduct research at the National Institutes of Health.
He is double-board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Tidey is currently the Medical Director of the Virginia IVF and Andrology Center which he co-founded in 1998. Since the centers inception, it has maintained its status as one of the country’s most successful IVF facilities.
He developed and directs the area’s first anonymous oocyte donation program and he is responsible for the fist frozen oocyte pregnancy in central Virginia.
Dr. Tidey has authored numerous papers, abstracts and book chapters and has lectured extensively on topics related to infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is a member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Richmond Academy of Medicine.
